Digital Classicist London 2026 call for papers

The Digital Classicist London seminar invites proposals for the Summer 2026 series. We are looking for papers on any aspect of the ancient or pre-colonial worlds, including archaeology, cultural heritage, history, language, literature and their reception, and that address innovative digital approaches to research, teaching, dissemination or engagement. We particularly welcome presentations that reflect work across or between disciplines, and collaborations with partners outside academia that serve the research agendas of both/all parties.

Seminars will be held on Fridays in June and July in Senate House, University of London, and will be simultaneously streamed to remote audiences on Youtube, but we hope most speakers will be physically present in London. We have a small budget to support travel for speakers within the UK.

Please send an abstract of 300 words or less to <gabriel.bodard@sas.ac.uk> (clearly marked Digital Classicist London) by the end of Monday 16th March 2026. In the email, please indicate if you would be able to present in person in London or online only.
